Test Lead / Test Manager:

  • As a Test Manager/Lead for the project, I have taken complete ownership of end-to-end testing, including planning, coordination, execution, and delivery.
  • Actively engaged with multiple teams including BAU, other cloud programs, and QBE to secure key information for test planning and execution, enabling the testing team to operate more efficiently and assisting the development team in conducting effective shakedown testing.
  • I have set up the testing process for the team, including documentation, test plans, test evidence collection, progress tracking, and defect management to ensure smooth and organized execution.
  • Maintained regular involvement in stand-up calls, client and development meetings, and KT sessions to ensure that testing activities were well-informed and aligned with the project.
  • Lead a team of 14 members, mentored, and provided technical help to resolve challenges.

  • Part of the NDFC/DCNM QA team for 7 years – the Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC), which provides granular, scalable visibility for deep-dive troubleshooting, functionality, and maintenance operations that benefit data center operation teams.
  • Responsibilities include End-to-end feature test planning and execution. Regression testing, scale and performance testing of the application along with customer support.
  • Diligently worked on Customer found issues across the features of the product, not limiting to the features owned. Worked on bringing up the test topologies to be equivalent to the customer and simulating the issue to identify and root cause the field issues.
  • Primary responsibilities include handling feature testing and enhancements, handling customer queries, and sending test reports.
  • Worked with development teams for the RCA of critical issues and faster resolution of the bugs.
  • Verifying the fix provided for bugs and its impact on surrounding features.
  • Involved in deploying topologies for every new hardware support. Additionally, wrote/enhanced test plans for same on NDFC/DCNM. Support comprised of the Cisco Nexus portfolio, including the Cisco Nexus 9K and Nexus 3K.
  • I have mainly worked on features like ISSU, VPC, and administrative features such as DCNM-LAN server user accounts, device discovery, automatic synchronization with discovered devices, statistical data collection management, DCNM-LAN server and client logging, along with generic test execution for LAN.
  • Played key role in Scale and Soak Testing. Identified critical issues that influenced the performance of the product.
  • Regression coverage of multiple platform support for each NXOS release, as supposed by the NDFC/DCNM application.
