  • It was a school final project to make crypto currency receipt generator, I led a team of two students to develop the Project
  • Create UI from scratch, and this was a completely new experience for our team as we have never worked with a client before
  • We did face some problems while developing this project over the period of 4 months
  • As time was a factor, we were unable to meet a few requirements
  • The major problems we faced were finding the right API’s which meet the client’s requirements
  • As we used unified API, we had to edit and integrate them, which was a really challenging task, as there are always some functions that we require that was missing from the API’s
  • Our project basically had 5 features: Currency change: Displaying different currencies for the users to select from as a type of payment
  • User-Email: A user can put in their email address in order to receive their transaction receipt in a form of PDF
  • Logos: Our webpage uploads various kinds of logos for the crypto coin and regular currency
  • Disclaimer: Add option to edit disclaimer
  • Download option: We had to put a function for the user to download the generated receipt in the form of the pdf
  • In the end, we just had to integrate all these features into webpages
  • The Development Model: The development model we chose for building our project was Agile
  • We decided so as we already studied the model in our Software Engineering course, and we also saw that it suited our development processes
  • This includes: Discovering a requirement
  • Implementing the requirements which includes design and development
  • Testing the coded requirement that is compiling and checking for any errors
  • Deploying the feature in the project on the mobile phone browser
  • Reviewing any changes if needed.
