Being the president of Tricity Women & Child Welfare Society want to bring to the notice of my community that I always wanted to give back to the community as a Social Worker. I am a social worker from last 8 years and acquired the skills necessary to help the vulnerable people of the city I grew up in. I have comprehensively worked over many cases a year and all the way to monitoring treatment outcomes for every problem faced by the community. I have set up blood donation camp for the Blood Bank Group as we know everyday there are lot of emergencies where people need blood n in this way such blood campaign can prove out to b a great help. We have also run a planting project supported at different levels. The seed of this project were sowed by me at different locations. This project was called "Plant a tree Campaign" n we created a sense of environmental awareness amongst youth. During covid times we helped those who were stuck in lockdown and isolation in terms of their medicines, food, sanitizer and mask. We conducted langar’s at certain places and distributed groceries to needy people. We also had run a drive of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan for the mission to build a clean, hygienic and healthy community which makes more dignity for the whole society. The premise of the cleanliness drive was to give solid and liquid waste disposal system and society cleanliness. Being a social worker has enabled the transferable skills that make me an affective social worker. I would be not only excited , but honoured and obliged to work as a social worker for my community and help people. Our Tricity women and child welfare society also help children, the elderly, the poor, the disabled and other population for skilled development programme under JD creations
