- Company Overview: Grasim industries ltd Nagda is world’s largest producer of spun-dyed specialty fiber and having captive power plant of total generation capacity 122 MW.
- Individual start up and shut down of boilers and turbines.
- Arrangement, development, implementation and monitoring of all routine and non-routine plant maintenance development projects in Energy Centers to ensure Steam & Power Supply to SFD & Chemical Division to optimize and achieve their production within targeted cost and quality parameter.
- Plan & coordinate Maintenance activities to achieve targets.
- Allocation of resources as per priority jobs.
- Verification for smooth operation of existing system.
- Review customer complaints and take relevant corrective actions.
- Anticipate & eliminate problems from grass root, which can otherwise hamper continuous running of Energy Centre.
- Maintenance time to be minimized by incorporating new tools and ensuring maintenance practices are adhered.
- Maintain the static equipment in healthy & available condition.
- Identify weakness in Energy Centers existing engineering practices / systems and upgrading through new ideas & developments.
- Systemize safe working conditions and also the Environmental Standard.
- Implementation of all safety standards in plant, active participation in safety Sub-Committee & treat safety on top priority to maintain zero harm.
- To increase feed water temperature from 140 Degree C to 196 Degree C in EC#2, planning, erection & commissioning of HP & LP steam line from EC#5 to EC#2, coal saving by 5 TPD.
- To increase feed water temperature from 130 Degree C to 196 Degree C in EC#4, planning, erection & commissioning of HP steam line from HP steam network to EC#4 HPH, coal saving by 7 TPD.
- Stage blanking of Boiler Feed Pump, VFD installation for Power saving.
- Stabilized 100% Pet coke firing in AFBC Boiler as Pet coke is cheaper fuel.
- Develop SOP & SMP and strictly follow Preventive maintenance schedule for plant reliability.
