• Provide guidance and recommendations on the selection and implementation of disaster recovery technologies, tools, and solutions
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to IT disaster recovery, and incorporate relevant knowledge into client engagements
• Design and implement resilient IT infrastructure solutions, including backup and recovery systems, redundant networks, and failover mechanisms, to minimize downtime and data loss during disaster events

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for managing the IT Disaster Recovery Framework (IT-DR) including developing strategies, policies and plans to support the business needs.
• Experience in determining the adequate test environment drill & test plan requirements.
• Manage the various technology teams to develop drill Test Plans and Test Evaluation Summaries across heterogeneous infrastructure layers
• Lead efforts for Testing DR environment for datacenter failover and failback
• Drill execution co-ordination, incident / issues tracking during drills
• Experience in recovery testing data collection, analysis and reporting with recommendation of alterations to improve recovery performance
• Experience in DR tools that enable DR replication and automation
• Mid-Senior level DR experience with focus on IT-DR with technical DR experience
• Perform all administrative activities, including staff meetings, attendance, monthly status reporting, strategic planning, documentation, and other activities, as assigned, in a timely manner
• Ensure that DR plans and strategies are up to date, aligns to current business conditions, and could be used to support the recovery objectives of the organization within required time frames
• Ensure that critical applications have a fully documented, tested, executable plans that contain all the information for a successful recovery
• Proactively review existing and proposed plans for recoverability effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with various stakeholders, including Business Continuity management team, Infrastructure team, Information Security team, business stakeholders to develop / maintain recovery procedures and to enhance the efficiency and success of the Disaster Recovery operations
• To other DR plan owners in their periodic tests and self-assessing their control environment
• Design, schedule, and coordinate execution of DR tests exercises for critical business processes
• Develop and document operational procedures in relation to services delivered by the DR team
• Respond to adverse events that occur in the region and identify any impact on data / infrastructure assets and/or operational impact Coordinate DR recovery in case of a disaster
• Regularly report DR activities and monitoring to upper management
• Develop, review and maintain third party contracts for hardware and telecom services for Disaster Recovery hardware equipment and location resources
• Drive teams to work towards automation on all recovery procedures
• Setup quarterly testing calendar, coordinate and execute DR tests and readiness for all critical business applications
• Ensure post-recovery reviews are held, observations identified, and have owners assigned to corrective and preventative actions
• Track corrective and preventative actions to completion and escalate, if necessary, provide evidence to support customer / external audits

• Record, capture, and authenticate user login information (usernames, passwords, certificates, etc.) Manage the employee database of users and job roles.
• Allow for addition, deletion, and change of individual users and broader job roles.
• Provide a history of login and systems access for audit purposes Allow for properly-segmented definitions and access controls for every part of the business’s systems and data.
• Track user activities across all systems and data and report on user activities.
• Enforce systems access policies.

• Working experience as System Engineer working with Microsoft and Linux operating system, including OS deployment and management, application installation, network issues, ITIL ticketing tool, remote (MSTSSC, SSH, Putty etc.)
• Spearheaded compliance efforts and developed best practices to drive continual process improvements.
• Configured, tested and maintained network equipment to achieve maximum performance.
• Monitoring system maintenance, server performance, system security, system resource utilization, AD management (creation, modification, deletion of object) disk managing, managing system security and troubleshooting on issues.
• Responsible for managing and performing administrative tasks windows server, domain System, deployment of OS, Upgrading, security Patches update, Migration, Configuration, Troubleshooting etc.
• Installation, Configuration and administration of Windows 2012R2, 2016, 2019 and 2022 as well as Linux Servers.
• Accessing and identifying issues, resolving issues, and tracking IT tickets related risks in supported technologies
• Patch and security management: Apply patch and security changes per policy; proactively monitor the environment for patch compliance, Installation and updating patch through SCCM.
• Knowledge and experience in Virtualization technology VMware, VCenter. Configuring virtual machine, creating snap shot, installation of database.
