Smart Traffic Light System
A real-time, camera-based traffic management system using YOLO for vehicle detection, and dynamic signal control It optimizes traffic flow by adjusting light timings based on vehicle density, designed for cost-effective, efficient urban traffic solutions.
Smart Mess Management System
A data-driven approach to optimize meal planning, nutrition, and cost efficiency in institutional mess facilities. It analyzes ingredient choices, cooking methods, and portion sizes to enhance nutritional value and minimize waste, ensuring healthier and more efficient food management.
Design and Fabrication of Additive Enabled CNC:
In this project, a compact additive-based CNC is designed and built. The tip of the conventional CNC router is then replaced with MIG welding torch which is used for additive manufacturing. The CNC is controlled by G Cam and Inkscape software. The machine was then tested with various metal wires and the texture for produced product was found out.
Development of coated abrasives with steel grits:
In this project, we tested the abrasive coated steel grits for wood removal. The regular wood removal disc of silica abrasives was replaced with steel grits by using phenolic resins. The newly coated discs was then tested for wood removal and it is found that the newly developed coated discs removed wood layer at thrice the speed than regular disc for initial 15 minutes and also produced better surface texture.
