As a Material Handler it was my responsibility to ensure quick and efficient distribution of materials to the production floor. While in the warehouse, I would organize, clean, repackage and store incoming material into the corresponding material bins while ensuring all safety measures are taken accordingly. I would often require the use of pallet jacks and carts to transport material from the warehouse to the production floor. Each shift lasted 12 hours and I would often walk up to 13 miles a day.
For machining, the purpose of my job is to program CNC's, Vertical Mills, and Horizontal Mills to machine parts for other companies to the exact specifications they need and finish them in a specific time frame. On the off days with no parts to run, I would also empty trash barrels and metal chips bins.
My main responsibilities included but were not limited to; taking apart and fixing locks that are stuck in place, helping customers with purchases and transactions and setting up service calls.
For this job, it is my duty to deliver food in a fast and efficient manner. Other duties include making food, taking phone orders, tending to the oven, dispatching drivers, managing the store at times, dealing with customer concerns, cooking food, preparing food in the morning for the day, folding boxes, stocking items in the store to capacity, cleaning dishes, doing laundry, watering outside plants, sweeping the store, mopping the store, cleaning the makeline, cleaning the oven, prepping pans for certain food items, manage the cut table, and delivering food in my personal vehicle to the customers residents.
As a seasonal worker, my job was a bike assembler. In doing that I would build bikes to fill the bike rack on the sales floor and then some extras for the commonly sold bikes to be kept in storage. In order to get some of these bikes I had to be certified in operating a scissor-lift to get to the high shelves. Later on, after Christmas and New Years Day, I had to switch to a different position in order for them to keep me on permanently. The job I moved to was a cart-pusher. As a cart-pusher I had to take care of the parking lot and keep all carts off of the parking lot and in the bins to the store. Also, if needed, I would clear the lot of all debris and trash.
My job was to accept whatever jobs became available for me to work.
In the customer service department it was my duty to take care of customer concerns, fix issues with customers accounts and bills, and push sales as best as I could.
As the dishwasher I was dubbed with the responsibility of cleaning the restrooms, washing dishes, scrubbing the floors, sweeping, mopping, deck scrubbing, food preparation, and putting away inventory.
