Summary

This initiative was started in 2008 by Mrs. Lakshmi Suneetha as an unregistered home-care service. Later, in 2019, it was officially registered under the name "Karunai Kangal Trust" (Registration No: 5/2019). Currently, the home provides care for over 25 elderly residents. In addition to running the residential home, the trust organizes medical camps for senior citizens, distributes food and essential commodities to the poor and needy, and offers home-nursing services to care for the elderly directly at their residences. The founder of the trust also actively serves as a member of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee operating under the Social Welfare Department of Pudukottai.
