  • Coordinated and led a team of 60 community stakeholders on a site visit to explore parks focused arts and cultural opportunities in Chicago, IL. Connected team with nationally recognized art park development teams and programming management to visualize possibilities.

  • Lead organizer for a cross-sector of residents and community stakeholders on the development of the Northwest Area Quality of Life Plan, a community economic development plan comprised of 12 neighborhoods in the Near Northwest area of Indianapolis.
  • Engaged more than 3,000 residents and stakeholders utilizing traditional and arts-based research methodologies to access diverse populations often missed during planning processes.
  • The planning process identified 9 core community focus areas resulting in more than 125 action items focused on areas such as food insecurity, K-12 education, and community belonging and economic development.
  • Partnered with 5 elementary schools utilizing an arts-based research initiative to document the goals and needs of more than 2,100 K-12 students around the future of their community. Project met English Language Arts state education metrics.
  • Coordinated community organizing event with more than 350 residents and stakeholders in attendance for a day long community economic visioning and planning session. The follow-up community celebration 9 months later resulted in more than 600 people in attendance to provide feedback on plan finalization.
  • Designed and implemented Northwest Area Safe Routes to School Plan, a community research project which identified infrastructure and social conditions that impact walking routes to school for K-6 students in Indianapolis Public Schools’ two largest elementary schools.
