● Initial clarification will be sent to the customer regarding the basic information of the project once we receive the construction drawings.

● Later, RFI’s will be sent scope-wise by categorising them as material, dimensions & connections, with model sketches. That way all information will be covered in the drawing review.

● Respective RFI’S will be entered in an RFI log for tracking.

● Follow-ups will be sent for any unclear responses after discussing internally with the superiors.

● Model checking prior to the detailing to eliminate reworks from the detailing point of view.

● Schedule tracking frequently with the respective modellers & Detailer until the submission.

● All projects will be checked per AISC standards.

● If any approval returns markups or comments will be reviewed prior to incorporate and further reviewed to find out the root cause & will be explained in review meetings to prevent it from happening again in future submittals.

• From 2D to 3D, Auto cad tool to SDS2, trainee to Detailer then modeler and then checker, I have experienced all phases of Misc steel field.
• I have worked on various Misc steel scopes such as Downspout supports, Roof davits, Countersunk supports, Bollards, Highway guardrail supports along with the regular scopes such as Stairs,Railings, Ladders (Pit & Floor).
