Nextgen SCB App | Standard Chartered Bank | December 2021 - April 2022
Nextgen SCB App is a Standard Chartered Bank application which will be available to the customer on both mobile and web platforms. Worked as a Backend Developer in one of the domains which focus on services provide to the customer.

• Built couple of backend services from Scratch including Rest APIs and Graphql
• Implemented asynchronous communication with the other internal services using Apache Kafka
• Followed and encouraged team to follow some of micro-service patterns such as circuit-breaker, service discovery design patterns to ensure robust feature delivery
• Collaborated with Leads to develop the high level system design for domain
• Tech stack: SpringBoot, GraphQL, Rest APIs, Kafka

Income is a Singapore Insurance company’s application where Advisors from that company can virtually connect with users/leads about their insurance offers and vice versa. As part of it, I worked on uplifting their User reach by implementing more easier ways to virtually connect with their Insurance Advisors.

• Owned and implemented almost all backend functionalities that directly affect and enhance user journeys
• Involved in weekly deployment process
• Created and maintained some complex user interfaces using React
• Implemented jobs scheduling using AWS Lambdas and Cloud-watch

North American bank | November 2020 - April 2021

• Worked on architectural redesign of their entire system to make the development process easier
• Involved in tech and architecture decisions and added some valuable inputs
• As a proof of concern, worked on rewriting a microservice using proposed architectural design
• Followed Event driven architecture, sidecar design pattern to simplify inter-service communication
