- BMS has multiple teams and disparate applications on AWS platform, on premise and external systems that require exchange of data at project / application / application user levels.
- USERAGENT JWT The User Agent JWT serves as a portal where users can request access to S3, and an admin has the authority to approve or deny these requests. Upon approval, users receive a JWT token linked to their CCM profile, which allows them to access S3 using the credentials of the CCM profile. Additionally, the creation of an access point enables access to specific folders. CloudWatch rules and SQS are utilized to dispatch emails to users, reminding them of their token's expiration dates.
- Cost Optimization Enablement for AWS Services A Cost Optimization tool has been developed to monitor the actual usage of resources and optimize costs for AWS accounts through resource tagging. Users with AWS account access can create resources with predefined mandatory tags, enforced by a tag enforcer. If mandatory tags are not assigned to a resource, it will be deleted. For instance, if a user creates AWS resources like Lambda Functions without mandatory tags, an email notification is sent post-creation. This notification informs the user that the Lambda function lacks proper tags and will enter a jailed state for 5 minutes, after which it will be deleted unless the user takes remedial action within that time frame.
- S3 PEOPLE ACCESS CONTROL The website serves project owners by allowing them to onboard buckets to the portal and assign user permissions through defined rules. Tagging an S3 bucket activates the onboarding process to the system using event rule functionality, which also enables the limitation of access validity to specified days. Access to folders is granted by assessing the established rules. Administrators can modify or revoke access to requested folders through edit and delete functions.
- MDEP (MODERNIZE DATA EXCHANGE PLATFORM) MDEP is a project module that integrates various modes such as SFTP Client and File Transfer Portal, utilized by business users for secure file transfers from on-premises to the cloud. It also facilitates real-time monitoring and auditing through Enterprise Splunk. My role involved provisioning infrastructure, developing backend API error handling code using Node.js runtimes, and enabling SC products and custom resources for MDEP, as well as managing SSH keys.
