  • Handling of Integration activity for vPCRF & Bare Metal PCRF with EPG, SBC (Huawei P-CSCF) & TAS as part of VOLTE rollout to handle Rx/Ro traffic. Integrated new E//OGW (MM18), Classic PCRF & cloud based PCRF with multi-vendor GGSN nodes to handle Gy & Gx traffic.
  • We have put various threshold checks as part of proactive measures on OCC TPS on APM which has helped us in identification of any network issues related to traffic surge with GGSN and SAPC. We have done fine tuning of SOG timeout and DB parameters on SDP which has helped in improvement of SOG command firing towards HLR and UDR.
  • As part of process improvement we have changed the file transfer mechanism for various circles from FTP to SFTP which has helped us in rectification of regular issues in periodic dump transfer.
  • To perform periodic discussions with vendor and internal cross functional teams on updates of ongoing and pending issues.
  • Involvement in new nodes installation and providing support. Delineation of project scope, identification of risks, and opportunities for quick wins and Mapping of solutions to existing or potential applications/services and analysis of processes by multidisciplinary teams along with review of solutions provided by Vendors in order to ensure error free changes.
  • Active participation and planning for shifting traffic ( Gy , STP, NTP, Inter-Site, SNOC-Alarm) from Ericsson MPBN Switch to Router (SSR) with Static VRRP to Dynamic Routing Protocol E-BGP.
  • Planning and execution for IT services (E top-up, RECC, USSD and UPSS) migration from Ericsson MPBN switch to Ericsson SSR routers.
  • Involved in RPA (Robotics Process Automation) discussion and implementation for Ericsson IN daily alarm monitoring using Blue Prism. Implemented hardware failure automatic CSR (Customer Service Request) ticket and TT (Trouble Ticket) creation process.

Projects Undertaken:

  • Based on ILD usage of customers, fraudulent activities are tracked and calls going to particular destinations are blocked at
    New York and LA switches to avoid further loss to company.
  • We use to analyze ILD CDR's from various International switches wherein we use to track spike in usage and Revenue both.
    Identified both opportunity of Loss of Revenue and fraudulent activities.
  • Identified and prepared complete automated reconciliation system which incorporated actual prepaid terminating Price and
    collection Price checks and help in identification for fraud activities.
  • Identified an important scenario for customer dissatisfaction and prospective Revenue loss in case of QOS downgrade failure for scenarios of 2G and 3G profile change post respective recharge.
  • Recharge reversal process was done manually via Contact center people. Identified gap of customer benefit not getting rolled back along with recharge reversal. It was streamlined via contact centers process creation.
  • Identified multiple revenue leakage points from Prepaid product configuration such as, Incorrect Prepaid rates being applied to customer due to typical product configuration. Identified such scenarios and
    done various process optimizations to automate these reconciliations.
  • Identified logic for TRAI audit scenarios where in last MOU of customer was incorrectly charged. Automated whole process to help team as same was required to be done periodically.
  • Identified usual MSC and IN CDR discrepancies and automated complete process of reconciliation.
  • Also created complete automation process for reconciliation of E-Recharge configuration, Tariff configurations, IN SDP subscriber migration, IN promotional bucket expiry validation and Customer Home Location checks for prepaid accounts.
  • Worked on SAS analytical BI tool for data extraction and processing and used same to analyze various customer Campaigns run by business teams.

  • ECMS hardware analysis (for feasibility of ECMS 3.1 deployment on ECMS 2.1 hardware).Analysis of ECMS GUI, by comparing the functionalities/features of our ECMS with customer's existing CMS in order to conclude the product customization requirement for Antel Uruguay.
  • Complete IP planning for ECMS node for test (Standalone) and production server (High Availability).
  • Installation and integration of ECMS High Availability (on production) and ECMS standalone server (on test environment).
  • Hardware (F5 Load Balancer, EMC Storage-AX4 & NX4, ECMS Network Switch, SUN servers) Installation and Configuration.
  • ECMS Integration with nodes SDP, AIR, AF, CRS and VS.ECMS bug raising, tracking and follow up for resolution.
