While working in a fast-paced kitchen, I suddenly ran out of a key ingredient essential to one of the signature dishes. The orders for that dish were increasing and I knew to act quickly to maintain the kitchen's efficiency and keep customers happy. I assessed the situation and suggested using a substitute ingredient similar in flavour and texture. The chef agreed and I worked with the team to prepare the dish with the new ingredient.
