My role reports directly to R&A Exploration Manager which supports Upstream Exploration entities combination of Shell Operated and Non-Operated Ventures and end-to-end business in Upstream Exploration.

• Oversees overall finance framework and risk management, in addition to being responsible for the books of records, encompassing both internal and external accounting & reporting deliverables for Upstream Exploration entities. Drive Business Planning & LE exercise for Upstream Exploration to make sure quality deliverables are enabled within the timeframe.
• Holding Upstream Exploration finance accountability in managing US, Argentina & Brazil entities’ necessary approvals for financial implication for business activities, including cost recognition, appropriate methodology / policies application and ensure overall finance function integration and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with other Finance Operations teams and onshore Finance and business to successfully deliver Financial Reporting Support OU on Business planning and latest estimate on total costs, cash and working capital forecast Ensure financial controls in place to protect value and minimize value leakages, including robust cost allocation methodology and principles, prompt recovery of costs.
• Ensure accounting systems are fit for purpose and constantly enhanced in line with Group Direction. Work closely with lead for any management of change relating to financial IT system, tools and process for Upstream Exploration.
• Provide insightful financial and management indicators to the business to enable decision making that lead to improved business performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, simplify and standardize processes.

• Handled a wide gamut of activities pertaining to Accounts receivable functions including collections, customer accounts reconciliation, finalization, sign-off and evaluation of new accounts
• Managed cash applications and assisted with credits/refunds
• Directed dispute management related to sales, cash application and order processing, etc
• Assisted with the implementation and compliance to internal financial controls and procedures
• Served as contact point for all client escalation and ensured complete resolution by following up on all escalated cases
• Liaised and coordinated with internal and external sales & purchase teams
• Prepared reports on collections and ageing.
