PROJECT: SALES 360 REPORTING

• This project is about tracking different KPIs related to sales happening through direct and indirect channels.
• Worked as database developer to understand business requirements and provided solutions using expertise in Snowflake .
• Worked in data induction, data processing and aggregation
• Major Challenge Faced: As data volume was huge, semantic data processing and aggregating was big challenge. Tuned one analytical query which runs over 5 billion records to process data and was taking around 25-30 minutes to complete. Converted it to process data incrementally and used clustering to merge in existing data. Able to run it within 3 minutes.

PROJECT: SF SECURITY REORG

• As part of this project current snowflake service id and role were modified to use new roles and service id for different applications IICS, SNOWSQL, MULESOFT, DOTNET.
• Used snowflake role based access control mechanism to ensure secure data access and compliance during migration.
• Major Challenge Faced: 1000+ IICS task flows and SNOWSQL scripts required testing and monitoring . Did automation using python to monitor IICS task flows and SNOWSQL scripts for smoother migration.

PROJECT : PICKUP DASHBOARD

• This dashboard tracks sales of online and offline products and other performance metrics of employees present in store.
• Worked on DB development activities like data induction, semantic layer population, data aggregation and query preparation for reporting.
• Major Challenge faced: Had to store data in single semantic table, and there were around 10 source system involved. So had to design semantic procedure which will have minimum DML statements and data will be accurate. Able to provide efficient solution.

PROJECT: LEADERBOARD

• This project was about measuring KPIs related to services offered by store employees .
• It involved both real time and historical data reporting.
• Worked on DB development activities like data induction, semantic layer population, data aggregation and writing scripts to generate custom CSV files.
• Major Challenge faced: Worked on performance optimisation and designing procedures to handle large data volume during new product launches. Able to process around 30k records per minute and report in real time dashboards with complex aggregations.
