Throughout my nursing experience, I have had the privilege of dealing with elderly patients who have a variety of complex medical needs, both in aged care and emergency care. My experience has honed my clinical skills and critical thinking abilities, enabling me to excel in fast- paced situations where timely and informed decision-making is paramount. I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of these specialized units.
I developed a strong skill set in patient care, medication administration, wound care and care planning. I worked closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage the health and well-being of residents with diverse needs. My hands-on experience includes monitoring vital signs, implementing care plans, and educating families about care procedures.
During the past years, I have also been tasked with emergency unit patient care, where I learned and performed emergency medical procedures of basic and advanced cardiac life support and several other medical interventions required to stabilize the condition of my patients. Through practice and observation, I have acquired a strong understanding of patient health status and can accurately interpret the medical information on my patients. I have also demonstrated strong communication skills, which have enabled me to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their families. I am deeply committed to ongoing professional development and stay current with the latest advancements in medical knowledge and technology.
