Lead the Shipping operations at Poshmark India – A social commerce marketplace pioneering the Preloved fashion revolution across US, Canada, Australia, UK and India. My responsibilities include,

• Managing shipping initiatives through collaboration with shipping partners and cross functional teams at Poshmark
• Building and fostering strong relationships with shipping carriers, handling ambiguous situations and resolving friction points
• Running operations smoothly, regularly monitoring KPIs and reviewing data on invoicing, discrepancies, zone-wise trends, carrier ratings and reconciliation
• Analyzing large sets of shipping related data and presenting findings to the leadership teams with recommendations
• Driving shipping related product-change projects and process-improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies

Founded a start-up to build digital supply chain solutions for the Indian businesses and consumers

• The company’s first product was Tabaal, a web-based Courier Express and Parcel (CEP) comparison and booking service
• Our company had tied up with five prominent CEP service providers as vendors and we aggregated the orders for them on our platform
• Our product was used by thousands of businesses and consumers across India starting October 2019
• The operations came to an halt in February 2022 due to unfavorable market conditions in the post pandemic world

Worked as a Supply Planner for Braun Shavers at Procter & Gamble’s Global Planning Centre. As a part of the S&OP team, I pursued the following tasks,

• Long-term & Short-term Finished Goods & Intermediates Planning for the plants that produce the shavers, epilators and other related parts
• Daily Production planning for the packaging line that produces the finished goods and their respective intermediates
• Long-term & Short-term Packaging Materials planning for the intermediates
• Periodic Master Data Audit for the whole department with a MS Access based tool that I created.
• Capacity to Demand analysis on multiple BOM levels using a MS Access tool that I built to identify the bottlenecks well in advance
• Lead daily and weekly meetings with the Plants to discuss and take decisions on the issues arising out of the plans made for the respective day or week.
• Lead the material transfer between an old and new packaging plants on a daily basis as a part of Project Aster
• Work with initiative leaders and vendors to facilitate the start-up of new products or change management
• Support the Managers in their Loss Elimination initiatives

Worked on my Master Thesis on the topic “Supply Chain 4.0: Transportation network planning using Predictive Analytics (Big Data)” in co-operation with the research institute ‘FIR e. V. an der RWTH Aachen’.

• As a main objective, I developed a process to implement ‘Predictive Analytics’ for all the critical business processes within the department to address the major challenges faced in transportation network planning.

Worked with the Supply Chain - Worldwide Transportation department to learn & improve the different Methods, Processes and Systems used for various business processes within the department

Worked with the Supply Chain Management team to improve the supply chain transparency and optimize the process time
