  • Installed Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 & 8 using Kickstart and applying security policies for hardening the server based on the company policies. , Appliance servers (CENTOS) using customized ISO/OVA images provided by application vendor.
  • Excellent knowledge of services like DNS, DHCP, NFS, Sendmail, Apache Web Server,Samba, SSH, Telnet, HTTP, YUM, RPM Package Management
  • Developed UNIX shell scripts to accomplish redundant tasks to simplify in distributed administration

  • Software installation: This includes the standard packages which is on our REPOS and also the 3rd party packages which will be signed up by requestors and will be exporting it to RHEL repos .
  • Adding the key to YUM Trustfile, so new systems would automatically trust packages signed with new key, and then import whole file to RPM trust database and regen the repository metadata for the specified repos.
  • User Management & Administration. It includes any user related login issues and Unix Linux administration and usage of Centrify which bridges the servers with AD and granting Elevated rights via Centrify AD.
  • SSC Vulnerabilities remediation related to Linux servers (OS Level).
  • Patching the server to the latest release as per the client requirement
  • Configuring the gateway at the server level for redundancy , NIC configuration live virtual IP and bonding on servers..
  • Decommissioning of servers as per the client request .
  • ASM Disk addition on RAC DB Servers .
  • Splunk Monitoring – splunkforwarder installation which helps to monitor the server status.
