With 30 years of experience teaching English, I have had the opportunity to function in a variety of new situation and faculty concept. The superiors and student’s parents have recognised the constructive changes in student’s academic and home lives.
The genesis of this intense interest in education evolved into an aspirating and a pursuit for a career in the field of education. To equip myself with right techniques and methods of teaching, I completed TTC, from St Margaret’s training college, Byculla; B.Ed from Mumbai University; Masters in Literature from Mumbai University and IB training from Toronto University and am currently, pursuing PhD in Literature.
In teaching practices, significant importance should be given to modifying the monotonous conventional teaching strategies widely employed by teachers. By introducing classroom debates, mini-plays and other forms of teaching in classrooms change the conventional passivity in the student’s acquisitions of knowledge. Being result-oriented only rewards in terms of Grades in the top Bands are constantly pursued and implemented.
Having handled and conducted competitive exams such as - Olympiads, Asset, I have Anchored and scripted Annual Days and Sports Days, worked with students participating in Inter-school Science Exhibitions.
I am energetic and eager to learn and I regard myself as being creative, artistic, hardworking, presentable and well spoken.
I am an organised and dependable candidate, successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. I am willing to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals with an excellent reputation for resolving problems and improving the teaching-learning process.
