PROJECT WORK

  • Soil reinforcement is defined as a technique to improve the engineering characteristics of soil, and in this way, using natural fiber to reinforce soil is an ancient idea Consequently, randomly distributed fiber-reinforced soils have recently attracted increasing attention in geotechnical engineering for the second will used in soil reinforcement projects. The use of soil reinforced with natural fibers has been a topic of interest in the field of geotechnical engineering, and in this study, the effectiveness of soil reinforcement with natural fiber was investigated through a series of laboratory tests. on soil samples reinforced with various percentages of coir fiber and jute fiber. Results showed that the addition of natural fiber improved. The optimal percentage of coir Fibre and jute Fibre was determined to be 0.3 and 0.25%, respectively. Furthermore, the study also found that the fiber-reinforced soil had better resistance to erosion compared to unreinforced soil The findings suggest that the use of natural fiber can be a sustainable and cost-effective solution for improving soil stability and erosion control in various civil engineering applications.
  • It can be said that both FA and xanthan gum exhibit remarkable improvement in the soil stabilization process The value of strength is improving tremendously up to 20% FA and 1% XG beyond which the improvement is marginal. Therefore, 20% FA and 1% XG content may be suggested for the soil stabilization process
