  • At current job I have managed to master tig welding, flux core, mig, stick(7018,6010)
  • We also specialize in duct work, hand rails, air tanks
  • Most of the work I do has to be 100 percent pure weld, do to this fact every single weld I work on has to be X-rated

  • Cut, hammered, and threaded pipes to specifications using tools such as cutting torches, saws, pipe threaders, and pipe benders
  • Examined workpieces to verify quality and conformance with specifications
  • Worked according to blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to build desired structural shapes

  • First two years, my work duties was to fit, clean and weld duct work
  • Join two seams in ducts to be place at unit all together
  • Most of this ducts were as big as a room, I achieved this by using flux core welding or stick depending on weather conditions
  • Last two years i was kept by the company to do demolition of the entire whole unit which consisted on cutting the old unit with oxygen lancing rods, all this started from 180 ft on the air all the way down to ground
  • Have experience driving manlift (jlg, genie, scissors lift) from 10ft up to 180ft
  • Repaired products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torch, straightening press, and hand tools
  • Monitored fitting, burning, and welding processes to spot and correct problems quickly
  • Inspected completed welds to check conformance with specifications and corrected deficient work
  • Welded components in flat vertical and horizontal positions to reach structural sections
  • Applied expertise in flux core and stick (7018) welding to joining and repair structural beams and attachments
  • Laid out, positioned, and aligned parts to correctly secure and weld pieces
  • Drove drift pins through rivet holes to align new structural steel members with previously placed members
  • Used hoist systems to maneuver the steel members into place and turnbuckles, crowbars or jacks to make final adjustments
  • Selected equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of machine physical properties, weld shrinkage, and fusing techniques
