  • Diagnosed, managed and planned surgeries for more than 500 patients with complex and critical congenital heart diseases including TOF, obstructed TAPVC, late presenting TGA, Truncus arteriosus, neonatal Ebstein's anomaly, Pulmonary atresia with intact septum, congenitally corrected TGA, various forms of DORV, Cortriatriatum, HRHS and HLHS.
  • Performed detailed cardiac imaging using 2D echocardiography, CT angiography, cardiac MR imaging, catheterization angiography and 3D printing when necessary to plan appropriate interventional strategy in complex heart diseases.
  • Managed children with acute and chronic heart failure, with both congenital and acquired causes
  • Planned, prepared, and assisted complex interventions in children with congenital heart disease, including transcatheter pulmonary valve implantation, PDA stent, RVOT stent, CoA stent, branch PA stenting, RSOV device closure, coronary cameral fistula device closure, multiple ASD closure with multiple devices, transcatheter tricuspid valve implantation, and transcatheter pulmonary valve implantation.
  • Independently performed more than 15 procedures including Balloon Atrial Septostomy, PDA device closure, ASD device close, Coarctation balloon dilatation, Pulmonary valve balloon dilatation, Aortic valve balloon dilatation.
  • Diagnosed and managed difficult cases of tachyarrhythmias including VT storm, refractory PJRT, tachycardiomyopathy. Assisted in more than thirty 2D and 3D radiofrequency ablation procedures for tachyarrhythmias and endocardial pacemaker implantation.
  • Performed more than 200 fetal echocardiograms including 30 with congenital structural and electrical heart diseases and participated in the counselling and management of these fetuses including fetal aortic valve balloon dilatation and fetal tachycardias.
  • Intensively managed post cardiac surgical patients including those on ECMO support, peritoneal dialysis and low cardiac output.
  • Meticulously followed up children with cardiac diseases and also actively educated and counselled patients and their loved ones and helped them in decision making for simple and complex heart ailments.
  • Involved in the research and teaching program of the premier academic institute in the country.
