As a first-year college student majoring in maths, I found my niche in the subject by deriving satisfaction from delving into the theoretical depths of proof-based concepts to the complex problems involving trigonometric identities and calculus. Throughout my academic journey, I gained hands-on experience with tools like Excel, GitHub Copilot, quantitative and business modelling to learn about the inner mechanics of elements like risk assessments and data decision making, coupled with the roles statistical models play in the world of quantitative finance and data science. Additionaly, I was part of an NGO called khayaal foundation where I tutored maths to underprivileged kids, helping them build strong foundational skills and maintain a healthy, positive learning environment.
