I have conducted extensive research on various socio-economic issues and published the following papers in accredited journals:
1. Future of Physical Retail
Abstract: The last decade has been tough for the traditional retailers. COVID 19 exacerbated the woes of an ailing retail sector struggling to keep pace with the expanded reach of e-commerce companies and aggregators. The last decade saw the e-commerce players not only get a firmer grip on their consumers but also began to fashion and influence consumer behaviour forcing physical retail to either keep pace or perish. This paper analyses the challenges of the traditional retail sector in a digital world and what it can do to survive with its increasing hold.
2. WHY INDIA CANNOT AFFORD A WEAKENED MSME SECTOR?
Abstract:- Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have made a significant contribution to economies worldwide. They have been instrumental in economic growth, initiatives for sustainable development, job creation and provision of public goods and services. They have been acknowledged as key instruments of socio-economic stability as they help in poverty alleviation and reducing inequality. It is no different in India. This paper analyses the challenges being faced by this sector in India and the reasons for its stunted growth.
