• FOCiS (Freight Operations and Customer Information System)

FOCiS is a Logistics / Freight Forwarding Management system that deals with Quote Generation to Customers, Freight Bookings, Invoice Generation, Consignment Tracking used across 120+ Countries.
It’s a huge Software Product comprising several modules like Master Data Management, Stakeholder Management, Quote Generation, Job Booking, Job Accounting, Business Intelligence, Machine Learning Chabot’s and Integrations to various other Applications.

Responsibilities:

⦁ Responsible for working closely with business partners and business analysts to help gather requirements, and translating requirements into system work

⦁ Managed team of developers responsible for delivering the solutions.

⦁ Interacted extensively with developers, quality assurance engineers, and project teams regarding scheduling, requirements, design, implementation, testing, and support.

⦁ Manage new feature developments and defect using agile process

⦁ Implemented code review process with in the team to maintain quality of code

⦁ Was a go to point for the team for any business clarification or technical challenges they are facing while development.

⦁ Conducted Knowledge sharing sessions with in the team relating to Best Practices, Coding Standards, Code Reviews, and New Technologies.

• TOP (Transformation Operation Platform), This project deals with the freight forwarding of the materials through ocean and Air .TOP E2E is a web application to automate and track Imports and export process
• The Client is already using an ERP called Control which is running on AS/400 but this new web application provides greater visibility to management and all process actors and owners
• It satisfies the customer by providing online tracking option
• Also it helps to complete and manage the Ocean and Air process effectively
