Elementary educator with over eight years of teaching experience across the Early Years and Primary Years in international schools in India. Committed to creating inclusive, internationally minded learning environments that foster curiosity, collaboration, communication, and global citizenship. Recently completed a Master's degree in Early Language Education for Intercultural Communication at the University of Eastern Finland, complemented by an Erasmus+ student exchange at Universidad de Los Lagos, Chile. These experiences broadened my educational perspective by exposing me to diverse approaches to teaching and learning across India, Finland, and Chile. I also have a strong professional interest in the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach.
My educational philosophy is informed by Finnish learner-centred pedagogy, IB philosophy, emphasising learner agency, inquiry, inclusion, and authentic learning experiences. My Master's thesis, Outdoor Education for Communication Skills Development in Indian Elementary Learners: English Teachers' Perceptions, strengthened my understanding of experiential language learning and reinforced my belief that meaningful communication develops through purposeful interaction with people, nature, and real-world contexts, beyond classroom walls.
