- Findings of the projects:
- Different banks have their own Home loans and the steps to apply, interest rate and offers are different from other banks
- My contribution was to find out the banks long lasting question why aren't customers attracted to their banks for home loan despite advertisement efforts
- I did a comparative analysis based on the significant parameters like per lakh EMI, interest rates, MCLR rate, Gross NPA and Loan to property value
- Based on these parameters few suggestions were offered to the banks like 1
- For the recovery of the home loans the recovery process must be made stricter
- The NPAs are more for the banks that come under the Public sector
- The money invested in the Public sector banks are the public money
- They should follow the principles of the Private sector and learn from them how to reduce their NPA by recovering their lost Home Loans

- As a common man, loans are taken by most of us only during times of necessity
- Since the process of loan disbursement requires a huge amount of time and documentation, most people are hesitant to approach public sector banks
- This has always worked out in favor of the private sector banks

- This is also the reason why public sector banks always lend to businesses under the influence of the government often without considering about the repayment capacity of the businesses and potential of the sector
- This further leads to increase in NPA’s which has an indirect effect on home loan disbursement and interest rates

- Before giving loans to potential candidates who have repayment capacity, banks must not only ask for their pay slips but also consider the potential growth in the sector in which he/she is working as a downfall in sector leads to a reduction of banks getting their money back from the customers

- In the same process for the people who all do business, profession the banks will have to ascertain their Income
- Tax Returns and their profits they receive
- It must be done in once in six month based upon the market they are into
- The business with more riskiness must have their evaluation done more frequently.
