Residential Appartment construction activities at Perumbakam were made to observe and learn.The construction materials and the techniques used were learnt.

Washermenpet to Tondiarpet metro line project was under construction and the sites consisting of the ramp,underground station and another station were visited and the activities performed were observed carefully.

The construction Sequence were explained by the site engineers.

The equipmets,materials and the code books used for the construction were explained with all the specifications.

The safety precautions that is the safety rules and PPE'S were explained to us in detailed.

The health and the waste management carried out in the site were shown.

The process of carrying out the Quality inspection with the specific inspection list were provided.

The process of Monitoring the progress by producing the Monthly progress report,Maintenance Report,Initial contract meeting,Site mobilisation meetings,Quarterly Review Meetings,Monthly progress meeting,weekly meetings were made to study.

Detailed Estimations for the plans given were learnt.

Rate Analysis for each specific work done were calculated during the training.

Unit Rate Analysis for each material, machineries and labour were learnt.

Three Sites were made to observe.One fully furnished site,one site with the footing work alone and the other one with partial completion was observed.

Daily Site and inspection report was studied.

Important Checklist before each work were made to observe.

Material Procurement Book was studied.
