Retail Integration Bus Replacement with Kafka - (Apr 24 - till date)

* Architected Enterprise Level Kafka with Kraft cluster for replacing Oracle RIB.

* Designed a system which handles ~1 Million of messages per day (which can be horizontally scaled to meet larger TPS)

* Designed Generic Event Manager for Event Lifecycle Management which can adapt based on the client input.

* Implemented monitoring on Kafka cluster with Grafana Loki, Grafana Dashboards, Prometheus & Kadeck.

Kafka Rest Proxy - SAP Integration - (Apr 24 - May 24)

* Setting up Kafka Rest Proxy cluster for SAP CPI module to communicate with on-prem Kafka Cluster.

Oracle POS Back Office - (Apr 24 - till date)

* Designed scalable architecture to support 700+ stores of Lifestyle, 800+ stores of Max Fashion and Home Center

Maximo Migration to Open Source (Nov 18 – Dec 21)
* Identified, Designed & Implemented Visitor Management Service which saves $ ~1Million savings annually.
* Successfully moved Work Order, Asset Core modules from Maximo to open source tech stack using Microservice Architecture.
* Introduced Event Based mechanism using Kafka which was utilised by Data Sciences team for predictions.
* Built a custom UI with backend which reduced data load times in Maximo from 3 hours to 20 mins

Demand Response Program for Stores (Aug 22 – Oct 23)
* Successfully phased out legacy scripts to Event Driven Architecture Style which helped save money, improve observability and introduce new functionalities.
* Developed logic for Merging of events durations, re-appearing of cancelled events.
* Introduced team with Shedlock - a distributed locking mechanisms
* Introduced Flyway for updating DB from one version to another during migration

New Delivery Options (NDO). (Dec 14 – Nov 18)
* Reduced FDO REST call (product display page) response time by 10 times from 400ms to 40ms by introducing querycache in Infinispan
* Improved DDO (checkout page) response time from 3s to 1s by altering the cachestore mechanisms in Infinispan
* Proposed & Implemented Retry Logic for Location Service
* Removed Licensing cost of testing tools by moving to JMeter. Involved in writing JMeter test plan for Load Testing FDO & DDO REST calls.
* Worked closely with business for BFPO Delivery Option from concept till productionalization & support

OFSv2 (Order Fulfilment Service v2). (Aug 18 – Nov 18)
* Worked on Apache MDC for storing Request ID which helps identify issues tied an individual REST call.

* Learning & Implementing Enterprise Grade Software.

* Involved in bug fixing & development for a Canada based retail client
