Designed and implemented an end-to-end cloud-hosted service monitoring and automation platform for a Linux-based enterprise environment, leveraging strong Data Structures and Algorithms to efficiently process and analyze system metrics and logs in real time. The backend was developed using Java (with core DSA concepts such as queues, hash maps, and priority queues) to expose secure RESTful APIs for system health, job scheduling, and alerting, while Python and Shell scripts were used to collect CPU, memory, disk, and network statistics from Linux servers and perform automated remediation tasks. The application was containerized and deployed on AWS/GCP, with CI/CD pipelines built using Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. The solution followed standard networking and security practices, including role-based access control, API authentication, HTTPS, and secure key management, enabling reliable, scalable, and secure monitoring and automation of production systems in a real-world cloud environment.
