• Responsible for strategic sourcing of sheet metal parts, managing 300+ parts supply

• Support in Supply chain management, PPAP (Note) release, resolving invoice issues, ECN change implementation etc.

Achievement :

Successfully executed localization project for imported steel raw materials, resulting in an annual cost saving of 70 lacs.

• Responsible for ensuring availability of 16 JIT part families (350+ child parts) for production and follow-up with suppliers for any critical parts and tracking those parts till receipt
• Responsible for managing 25+ people team for JIT activities
• Provide daily partwise requirement to the suppliers for their daily production plan and release forecast to their material planning & fine tuning
• Responsible for managing LSP (Logistics service provider) activities in all areas of JIT Operations i. e. Unloading, placing, sequencing, line feeding, inventory monitoring etc
• Ensuring continuous and timely communication with appropriate departments in case of receiving rejections, damage and wrong parts
• Coordinate with PPC for creating production plans in response to critical shortages from suppliers
• Identifying potential risks and disruptions in supply chain, such as supply shortages, logistics challenges or supplier issues, and implementing contingency plans to mitigate those risks.

Achievement :

Successfully implemented cost-saving initiative through optimized transport routes, resulting in annual savings of 40 lacs.

• Responsible for prepare and execute inspection plan of BIW car body and components
• Responsible for inspection of BIW fixtures
• Identify and communicate out-of-spec tolerances, ensuring corrective actions are taken
• Responsible for Programming on CMM with optimized appropriate balance of accuracy, repeatability, speed and efficiency
• Preparing Quality Reports using Seven QC tools.

Achievement :

Appreciation by HOD for valuable contribution in calibrating BIW fixtures through inspection with a portable CMM machine.
