Take daily briefing sessions to ensure two-way communication and a highly motivated team.
Food safety checklist executed on a daily basis.
Ensure the company policies (SOP), rules, and regulations are followed by the team, and educate the team about the company SOPs.
Control Markdown / Dump:
Work on the daily inventory tracking report on a daily basis to identify areas of opportunity for controlling dump/markdown.
Take corrective actions to control daily markdowns or dumps in the department or store.
Control Shrinkage:
1. Minimize shrinkage through coaching the team for billing accuracy, stock accuracy, and making the associates vigilant about potential shoplifting cases.
2. Ensuring proper merchandising handling, ensuring correct PI, and correct price changes.
Control Expenses:
Operate and reinforce the ways to minimize the operational expenditure for the store: utilities, manpower, and store supplies.
