Headed the Controllerate of Quality Assurance ( Electronics) of about 500 employees conduction Evaluation testing of new electronic systems to be inducted in to the Indian Army. Retired as Maj Gen in Jan 2024.
  • 2011 -2016 (Brigadier). Headed the Directorate of Quality Assurance Wing (Radars and Systems) as Staff officer Deputy DGQA at HQs, DGQA at New Delhi interacting with ARMY HQs, MoD on all Quality and Procurement matters of Military radars and Missile systems for the Indian Army.
  • 2011 -2016 (Colonel). Heading a Senior Quality Assurance Establishment (Electronics) as SENIOR QUALITY ASSRANCE OFFICER dealing with Electronics Equipment Quality Assurance and responsible for Administration of Officers/Staff, stores and government funds allotted to the Establishment.
  • 2004- 2008 (Lieutenant Colonel). Lead Quality Assurance (QA) teams dealing with Electronic, Communications and Electronic Warfare systems being supplied to the Indian Army. Independently designed QA plans and QA Test Schedules for complex and critical warlike systems. Successfully executed QA projects worth hundreds of crores.
  • 2002-04 (Major). As a staff officer in General Staff (GS) Branch of a Corps HQs, lead an automation team in Installation, Management and Maintenance & Administration of LAN of a Corps HQs comprising over 150 work stations linking four distant HQs Networks on WAN.
  • 2000-02 (Major). As officer in charge of a training company of 250 trainees, conducted and coordinated their technical training, administration, discipline and welfare at Signals Training Centre, Goa.
  • 1988-97 (Lieutenant to Major). As Officer Commanding Technical communications and Administrative teams, managed communications and administrative responsibilities in varied geographical locations like Mountains in J&K, Deserts in Rajasthan and plains of Punjab.
  • 17 December 1988. Earned the President’s Commission as Lieutenant after being selected in Services Selection Board’s multifaceted tests which include Physical Efficiency Tests, Personal Interviews, Outdoor Group task Tests, Psychological Assessment Tests and strenuous Combat/Military Training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
