Posted as RM, Park Street Branch, I have been into Client Management & Relationship Building as ‘Relationship Officer – Assets (SME & Agri)’ (RO).
My key responsibilities were:
- portfolio build up & bringing in new clients, relationship strengthening, , analysis of clients’ business strategies, visiting their business areas, core interactions, financial analysis and credit worthiness.
- Closing of business deal into new business for the bank.

August 2010 – June 2013
Posted at Sub-SOL, Park Street Branch, and given the role of Relationship Manager – Agri & MSME (RM) with the same business responsibilities of PORTFOLIO Build Up and Business Generation, I had used my knowledge and had gained expertise in various lending, both retail, commercial and priority sector. As RM, I handled business relationship with companies like Magma ITL Finance Ltd, Greenply Industries Ltd., Merino Industries Ltd., Usher Agro Ltd., REI Agro Ltd., Bengal Acropolis, Ganesh Group of Companies, etc. and have achieved more than 100% of success rate in expansion of business for my Bank.

Posted as Member of Credit Processing Centre (CPC – PSL), Credit Risk Analysis and Financial Management were my key responsibilities and most important job was to build up unbreakable rapport with the customers and also complete the entire part of processing their credit requirements within the stipulated TAT as defined by my organization.
I have handled portfolios of almost all the MFIs of Bengal during this time frame, namely Bandhan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., Village Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., Uttarayan, Unnati Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., Arohan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. and many other NBFC-MFIs. Not only MFI lending in form of long terms financing but also securitization & buy-out portfolios of Bandhan was also handled. Restructuring of various proposals (like JUD Cements, Ghosh Brothers, Satyam Group, etc.), Securitization (like Bandhan, Magma Fincorp Ltd.) were also some of the big projects I have dealt with.
Have also handled Management Audit, RBI Audit & internal Audit from time to time.
January 2015 – September 2018
I have been a part of the Zonal Office of Kolkata Zone comprising of West Bengal, North East & Bihar (covering 224 branches) and was directly assisting the Zonal Head, Kolkata Zone, in all his business decisions, budgeting and monitoring of targets of the Zone.
Other job responsibilities included active co-ordination and managing the asset portfolio with all the 224 branches falling under the Zone. Was also coordinating for regulatory compliances, business generation, NPA management, Recovery Actions, Human resource issues, Audit Issues, Management Audit, etc.
I was also responsible for organizing Zonal Credit Committee Meetings, recording of the deliberations and finalizing the Minutes.
October 2018 –November 2018
Posted as Member of Shared Services Department, I was given the responsibility of timely payments to vendors, check the validations of agreements with vendors, reconciliation of MIS, etc.
