Description - Beijing Cargo Services is a ground handling agent which consists of international and domestic cargo warehouses. The international storehouse started operating in 2011. Its annual cargo handling capacity is 460.000 tons (in 2012). At present, it provides air cargo ground handling for totally 46 international and domestic airlines at Beijing Capital International Airport.

Project 1 - HDCS (Horizon Departure Control System)

Description - In HDCS all check-in operations of passenger are carried out for flight. For a particular subscriber aircraft, master seat map, flight profile is created. Initially it is a preflight state. Update it to open state, define the acceptance level. Through UI customer Journey is created. Then various check-in operations like Accept, check in, board, deplane, offload etc. passenger's info can be maintained as well as in DCS system. Agent can provide all SSR information for passengers. CJ can also be created by PNL message. The PNL is sent by RES system to DCS to impart passenger and boarding info. The ADL is sent by RES system to DCS to update sent on the PNL or previous ADL.

Project 2 - ICHECK (Passenger Check-in Process)

Description - The I Check application allows the passenger to enter the service, identifies their booking, specifies participating passengers and flight segments from the set of eligible participants and the system proceeds to confirm their check-in acceptance status on the DCS. On review of the results, the passenger may choose optional changes or to proceed to receive printed boarding passes. The I Check process concludes when the passenger has received documentation and instruction to proceed with boarding processes. The checkin process is handling by web application and simulator for kiosk machine.

Reports are also to be generated to do analysis and decision making about the business needs and enhancements.
