As a Music Content Operations Specialist at YouTube Music, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our music content library. You will collaborate closely with music labels, artists, and content partners to ensure a diverse and high-quality music catalog.

• Negotiating and acquiring licenses for music content from record labels, distributors, and independent artists.
• Curating playlists, albums, and featured content to enhance user discovery and engagement.
• Ensuring accurate and comprehensive metadata for all music tracks, including artist information, genres, and album artwork.
• Reviewing and maintaining the quality of audio and video content to meet platform standards.
• Monitoring and enforcing copyright and licensing agreements to protect intellectual property rights.

• Communicate with different creators to understand their goals, and how to improve their channel effectively.
• Discuss about crafting personal channel goals, channel optimization strategies, in running a successful YouTube channel.
• First look at new creators and offer one on one GVC consultation and also update them about new YouTube features.
• Taking part in experimental language oriented pilot programs.

• Moderate videos uploaded and select the policies according to the policy guidelines and ensure the platform is used in the right way.

• Initially worked for flagged videos Tier 1 queue and within 6 months was moved to review Tier 2 videos
