Change Management in Financial Consolidation and Reporting

• Lead the integration of change management practices within the financial consolidation and reporting processes
• Manage and oversee the implementation of new reporting and consolidation systems, methodologies, or processes within a change management framework
• Ensure that changes to financial systems, processes, and reporting structures are successfully adopted by all relevant stakeholders

Assessing Impact of Changes

• Conduct assessments to understand the impact of proposed changes to financial consolidation and reporting on business operations, systems, and stakeholders
• Evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address any disruptions or challenges related to the changes in consolidation/reporting processes

Change Impact Analysis and Transition Planning

• Conduct thorough change impact assessments to identify how new financial consolidation and reporting processes, tools, or methodologies will affect existing workflows
• Develop and manage detailed transition plans for the seamless integration of changes, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations

Monitoring and Reporting on Change Progress

• Monitor the progress of change initiatives in financial consolidation and reporting, measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes
• Prepare reports on change management activities, progress, and challenges, and present findings to senior management and key stakeholders

Run the Bank Change lead Hyperion HFM / Essbase

• Provides support by reviewing, interpreting and responding to queries raised by the Finance teams within Barclays Finance or the Clusters/Functions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop financial applications and work with teams to build out Proof of Concepts based on requirements
• Apply financial concepts to translate functional requirements into Function/Technical design
• Investigates and resolves the more complex problems, issues and queries, liaising with customers, suppliers and other experts, as appropriate
• Ensures queries are dealt with promptly within agreed SLAs, regularly monitor progress against targets
• Performs specific specialist operational functions on the Group Financial Consolidation system e.g
• Overseas process management within Hyperion HFM
• Owns and manages specific processes efficiently and effectively e.g
• Master Data Management process
• Ensures appropriate control is applied and that underlying data is maintained to the highest standard of integrity
• Assesses Change Requests for impact on existing processes and architecture
• Reviews/analyses implications of Finance projects for own area of expertise
• Undertake, with others, Functional Systems Testing and User Acceptance Testing for quarterly releases of change requests

• Provide ongoing operational support for Hyperion systems and HFM, ensuring smooth system performance and troubleshooting issues
• Produce monthly Management Accounts for the FIL group, collaborating with Business Finance teams across Europe, Asia, and India to facilitate integration
• Support HFM project teams with data migration and assist in identifying and resolving system requirements or issues
• Serve as the primary point of contact for user support, including training, error resolution, and system performance improvements
• Manage interface procedures, including interface reconciliation and coordinating JDE interfaces, while assisting with future system developments and UAT testing before production release
