I collaborated with Fiserv's Disputes Modernization team to migrate legacy C++ code to Java for credit card payment systems. My role involved facilitating key Scrum ceremonies, including:
- Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, for multiple value teams to maintain consistent team alignment and clear communication.
- Collaborate on backlog grooming with team members across various digital and business units to ensure backlog relevance and optimize future sprint planning.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, fostering self-organizing teams and guiding them towards higher Scrum maturity.
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress in Agile tracking systems, keeping all stakeholders informed and ensuring transparency.
- Promote continuous improvement by implementing changes from retrospective feedback and supporting the creation of a shared product vision.
- Identify and remove obstacles to maintain team productivity and facilitate conflict resolution to foster a positive team environment.
- Act as a liaison between the Value team and stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent communication on progress and project needs.
- Maintain and enforce Scrum principles, while regularly reporting team progress and outcomes to leadership.
