B. E. Project: Design and fabrication of a compact sized rice milling machine.
An attempt to make a compact sized rice milling machine which uses optimum electrical energy. It is simple in construction, compact, cost efficient and easy to handle by farmers for household purposes. The milling efficiency was found to be around 82.86%.
M.Tech Project: Mathematical modeling and simulation of the drying process of tea leaves in a batch-type tray dryer.
Drying is an indispensable process in majority of food industries to extend the shell life of foods by preventing the growth of microbes. In this project, the drying phenomena of tea leaves in a batch dryer is studied by solving the model equations.
Internship:
One month Summer Internship, after B. Tech. 6th Semester, at New Guwahati Diesel Locomotive Shed, Guwahati (Assam).
