  • Built and managed a Kubernetes-based internal developer platform (LightOps Stack) on Azure AKS, enabling application teams to deploy with integrated observability, alerting, backup, security, and GitOps workflows.
  • Automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Crossplane with Upbound, implementing GitOps-based, self-service Azure resource creation including AKS, VNets, and role-based access.
  • Designed and managed ArgoCD-driven Helm deployments and created pipelines to automate platform upgrades across multiple clusters.
  • Integrated HashiCorp Vault with Kubernetes via CSI driver for secure secret injection; configured Velero for scheduled & on-demand PV/cluster backups.
  • Implemented Istio Gateways, VirtualServices, PeerAuthentication (mTLS), and AuthorizationPolicies to secure traffic and enforce workload access controls.
  • Developed containerized automation scripts in Bash and Python for recurring ops tasks, executed via CronJobs and Argo Workflows using reusable WorkflowTemplates.
  • Managed workload placement using affinity rules, taints/tolerations, PodDisruptionBudgets, and autoscaling with HPA on resource and custom metrics.
  • Integrated cert-manager and ExternalDNS for automated TLS certificate management and DNS updates.
  • Configured Azure Workload Identity to allow pods to securely access Azure APIs using federated identity without secrets.
  • Set up metrics pipeline using Alloy’s otelcol.receiver.prometheus to scrape data from Kubernetes (via PodMonitor, ServiceMonitor, and Probes) and export to Elastic Cloud through OTLP/HTTP.
