- SW Testing includes: Integration Testing of SPP- Service Pack of ProLiant (a bundle of HPE Firmware, Drivers and Software), IP - Intelligent Provisioning (OS deployment SW from that injects the required HPE drivers and also allows FW update), Qualifying unreleased Operating Systems and OS features: HPE Customized VMware OS Images and Add-On bundle (included HPE Drivers, SW and FW), BETA OSs for (RHEL, SUSE, Windows and Ubuntu), Virtualization, OS update, Validating ROM (Secure Boot, UEFI and Legacy), Test Utilities like: SUM Update Manager, iSUT, VC, VUM and VLCM, AvSecure, Validate Platform Management Software (iLO, BMC, SNMP, AMSD, AMS, AHS, MIBs, WEBM)
- These SW products are deployed and tested on below HW combinations/configurations: HPE Proliant Servers (Rack and Tower), Blade & Synergy, HPC(High Performance Computing) & Cray XD Servers and solutions with high performing processors (Intel and AMD variants), Memory (Intel Optane; Apache Pass, Barlow Pass, NVDIMMs, LRDIMM, RDIMM), Storage Boxes, Storage arrays (MSA (Modular Smart Array)/3PAR) and drives (NVMe, SSDs and SD Cards etc) and Network adapters (Broadcom, Intel, QLogic, Emulex, Mellanox) supporting new features and higher bandwidths on the new/ existing HPE servers
- Investigate New OS, New features and Technologies and write Test cases
- Testing HPE proprietary provisioning tools/Software to install OSs and Tracking: Servers, Bugs and Test Progress. Validate installation and deployment of various FW types (Smart Component, UEFI Shell, PLDM.FWPKG and from Support Pack of Proliant) and Test FW features
- Validate installation of HPE and Open Drivers (Inbox or Vendor Site, Smart Components and from SPP) and Test Features
- Logically prioritized the test activities in the team
- Logical leveraging done for sustaining test/HW on minimal risk areas, that helped enhance NPI coverage

- Investigate Customer/Field issues to create a balanced suite of performance workloads that's Interact with OS Enablement teams and OS vendors to understand the new OS and new OS features and create Test Scenarios/Test Cases.
- Issue troubleshooting and discussions with OS Engineering team
- Technical meetings with product managers and product engineering teams to discuss current bugs, Change Requests and any new upcoming features
- Technical meetings with HW Manufacturing teams and discuss new features, Architecture, Specifications and create feasible test cases
- Work in Test Driven Development environment, leveraging QA automation test suite to provide unit tests and integration tests for all new functionality
- Work with the internal team (i.e., Development Teams and Managers, Product Managers and Project Managers) on HW/Project Risks and risks and raise red flags early.
