The client is one of the largest cruise companies in the world and has more than 50,000 crew members. The entire HR data of crew members, which includes information about crew members, scheduling, and payroll information, is maintained through a large application, Crew Personnel System.

• Lead technical teams in the migration from legacy Oracle systems and development from scratch in a new tech stack for all crew-related applications for the client.
• Worked directly with clients and business users onsite in the USA to understand requirements, and provided expert recommendations for technology solutions, aligning with business goals.
• Automated various manual and redundant processes for the client into batch processes and scheduled jobs for ease of business.
• Created the application where crew members and schedulers can bid for contracts or assignments on ships, and raise scheduling requests that go through various workflows for approval.
• Designed and developed the My Performance application for the appraisal/evaluation process of all crew members working on the cruise.
