  • Heading Procurement with the team of 12-person reporting, Handling Vendor accounts (Purchase to Pay) for the products i.e. Proprietary components, hydraulic components, sheet metal, casting, forging, machined components, fabricated components. Responsible for planning & review of procurement activities.
  • Ensure On time material availability & economic inventory levels. Responsible for control of slow & non-moving components and its disposals.
  • Monitoring the vendor performance in terms of SQDC.
  • Preparation of annual budgets for SCM.
  • Responsible for internal & external audits (ISO, Inventory, JSoX, GMD etc).
  • SCM related facility planning for new Excavator Assembly Shop.
  • Close coordination with Logistics(Inbound & Outbound) to ensure milk run so as to achieve operational goals.
  • Responsible for designing the storage lay out in line with the production setup to ensure the economic material movements.
  • Responsible for resource planning & train them on material identification, handling & storage.
  • MoU with user departments to ensure the high-level customer satisfaction & integration among the departments to achieve the organizational goals.
  • CRISP (Cost Reduction Initiative for Sustained Profitability): Facilitate the CRISP team to achieve the cost reduction targets. Idea champion to generate the cost reduction ideas & implement the ideas for cost reduction.

  • CFT team visit to Hitachi Construction Machinery Japan under shuttle project: Organization has selected group of employees from Supply Chain Departments to replicate the Hitachi Construction Machinery, Japan best practices in THCM India. I am part of this CFT from the supply chain management function. Project duration: 15 days (from 28th July2012 to 14th August 2012)
