• Monitor and implement QA/QC Procedures of the company as per client requirement
• WQT test for welders as per AWS D 1.1, ASME SEC-IX
• Dimensional, visual and certificate review of incoming materials like filler wires, electrodes etc.
• Responsible for calibration of welding machine and all welding tools including baking and holding oven.
• Perform visual inspections as per WPS requirements before, during and after welding
• Check all welding parameters before, during and after welding for SMAW & GTAW welding.
• Assisting NDT Engineer in destructive testing as per requirements.
• Walk through all pipe lines with client
• Preparing punch list for mechanical and NDT clearance
• Arrange & witness Hardness & PWHT test as per requirements.
• Preparing Hardness report, PWHT report and PMI report as per client Std.
• Perform dimensional inspections as per requirements after welding.
• Arrange & witness NDT of weld joints and maintain its reports.
• Preparing request for all welding activities like, fit-up, weld visual and dimensional inspection, weld repair rate report, weekly weld report, weld summary report, weld tracking report.
