Working as a Storage Technologist for Enterprise Server Storage primarily owning BRCM SAS MegaRaid controllers and Boot Optimized Server Storage product portfolio.

My job includes review of design and specifications and providing feedback on test plan and setting up test strategies. Responsible for strategizing ways to reduce field dispatches and customer issues. Project optimization by eliminating redundancies, optimal resource utilization, automation and completed staff work.

Plan and design non functional testing and design performance comparison parameters.

I am also a Certified Agile Scrum Registered Product Owner.

As part of Filesystems (TFS) team;

• Take ownership and drive critical filesystem features, eliminate defects & stabilize the overall product
• Review functional spec and feature spec documents, design test plans and plan executions

As part of SAN team;

• Qualify FC & iSCSI protocol for IntelliFlash range of Hybrid and All-Flash storage systems
• Configure End-to-end FC and iSCSI connection with ESXi and Windows clustering and VDI infrastructures
• Validate De-duplication and Compression for LUNs and Shares with different flavour of VMs for workload generation on ESXi hypervisor using VDBench, IOMeter, dd etc

MTS QA for VMware Interop Team

• Create project artifacts like test plan, schedules & deliverables, h/w & s/w requirements.
• Interoperability testing of ESXi hypervisor with various GOS in SAN environments with Data ONTAP releases
• Validate drives/firmware from Emulex and QLogic HBA cards for FC, FCoE and iSCSI protocol
• Perform VMware HCL Certification for various ESXi releases against Data ONTAP releases to achieve Zero-day support

As PowerPath/VE testing;

• Test multi-pathing on SAN environments with PowerPath/VE for VMware ESXi hypervisor

As IIS Engineer;

• Lead a team of four engineers to perform integration of various EMC products in-house
• Perform competitive analysis based on stake holder prioritization and publish extensive reports, decks and powerpoint presentations to be used by sales teams
• Formulate recommendations that aims to improve the overall performance of EMC products, usability, increased business value and gives an edge in field for sales

Mozy was an online backup and recovery solutions suite built for Android, iOS and Windows devices.

• Create test plan & execute test suite and regression suite for various Android and iOS devices
• Simulate Android devices using Eclipse Java IDE to increase coverage for different screen size and UI rendering
• Perform backup & recovery of different media types including videos, images, etc. Induce faults, verify pre-fetch and caching mechanism, etc
