  • Company Overview: MAT Brakes India is the one of the largest Brake Pad Manufacturer Company in India. It is the joint adventure of Europe.MBI is working for OEM Company as well as aftermarket components. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of MAT Inc., USA & a group of 44 companies worldwide. The group is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of automotive and heavy engineering segment. The unit is engaged in manufacturing of Disc Brake Pads for Commercial & Passenger vehicle and Brake linings for major automobile sector like General Motor, Volvo, Ford, Bosch, Land Rover and Delphi etc.


  • Promoted to Deputed Manager role with additional responsibility of Brakeshoe line production as Group leader along with tool room operations.

  • Independently responsible for entire Tool room KPI’s & day-to-day operation for CVP, PVP, Rigid & flexible PV-linings, M-CVP, Brakeshoe sections.
  • Yearly capex & consumable budget preparation & control cost as per budget in tool room.

  • Increased CV-Pads production by 10% by resolving punch stuck issue & saving 12 million/year with this kaizen (Also recognized & published in Mat Inc. quarterly newsletter).
  • Did a project on Brakeshoe line where it was a huge issue of Y-clamps broken & resolved the issue permanently resulting in cost saving of 24 lacs/year.
  • Won first kaizen award among all MAT group companies R&R competition for neutralizing hydraulic oil leakage & awarded/honored by MAT group president Mr. Paul Thomas.
