* Developing new suppliers according to our sourcing requirements.
* Monitoring and reviewing vendor compliance for trims and fabrics.
* Sourcing all types of fabrics (woven, knitted, sportswear, and performance fabrics) as per fashion design management guidelines.
* Meeting all trim requirements (quality and MOQ) for various materials, including plastic, metal, silicon, TPU, paper, and woven trims.
* Calculating fabric costing and negotiating prices with vendors.
* Tracking all orders and developments, and managing all communications from the initial stage until order execution.
* Conducting customer or supplier visits as planned and resolving quality issues at the vendor's end.
* Reviewing quality checks and following up on system implementation within the department.
* Updating all Excel files with data entry in the master sheet of orders received from the fashion design or garment merchant teams.
* Submitting samples to the lab for fashion design and QA purposes.
* Handling dispatch as per instructions (lot-wise and group-wise).
* Sourcing new vendors, attending fairs, and client visits.
* Resolving production and merchandising-related issues.
* Holding various production-related and general meetings with the team and management for planning future activities and developments.
* Ensuring timely payments and clearing all challans, bills, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
* Following up with the warehouse for quality assurance of received goods.
* Ensuring the smooth supply of products against order booking.
* Coordinating with fashion design departments for new developments or new designs.
* Creating Purchase Orders (PO), Purchase Requisitions (PR), and Goods Received Notes (GRN) for payment purposes.
