Worked on the EL/KK module of IBM VISTA, a Swiss social insurance platform used by multiple cantonal SVA institutions through IGS GmbH.

Worked on NCTS P5 under the MASP, EU Customs Modernisation program. The project upgraded transit workflows, message formats, and validation rules across EU member countries.

Tech: Java 17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices (small services), AWS (EC2, S3, IAM), Docker (basic usage), Jenkins, Git, XML, JSON, Spring Data JPA, Angular (minor fixes).

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing Spring Boot backend services for customs transit workflows.
• Implementing REST APIs, validation rules, and data transformations.
• Creating microservices for message processing and integration.
• Working with XML and JSON custom messages and schema updates.

• NCTS RW - Rewrite of Transit Workflows Tech: Java 8, Spring WebFlow, REST APIs, XML, JSON Work: Refactoring legacy components, updating validation logic, improving performance, regression support.
• UUMDS - Uniform User Management and Digital Signature: Java 8, SQL, Jenkins. Work: User authentication flows, digital signature validation, crypto logic, permission and role mapping, and production support.
• PLDA Single Window - Belgian Customs Declaration System: Java 8, REST APIs, XML and CSV parsing, SQL, Git, Jenkins. Work: Declaration workflow enhancements, validation logic, debugging, and integration with downstream systems.
