Job description:

• Installation of Steering gear system and propulsion shafting system done without presence of OEM for second ship set.
• Planning and Conducting surveys for approval at every stage from Class and Owners.
• Alignment and chock fasting of Main engine / shaft generator / Gear box .
• Alignment of Gear box and jack up done in accordance with OEM procedure for shaft with single stern tube bearing.
• Assisted in troubleshooting equipment issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity levels.
• Adhered to timelines to meet quality assurance targets.
• Led training sessions for junior staff members, promoting skill development and fostering culture of continuous learning within team.
• Installation of Bow thruster from block stage to ready for commissioning stage.
